Today, MIRNA is a modern factory dealing in harvesting, preserving, deep-freezing and preparing of fish and seafood meals.

The company has the following facilities on several locations:

·    the factory complex,

·    new cooling units,

·    old cooling units, and

·    the shipyard.

The total surface area of these facilities and the land plot around them is 57,891m2. The entire factory complex with the old and new cooling facilities is located by the sea. The shipyard, with a surface area of 1650 m2,can be found on a separate location.

 

MIRNA guarantees natural foods and its products are highly regarded throughout the world for its nutritional value and excellent taste. Owing primarily to the high nutritional value of Adriatic sardines and other blue fish, MIRELA canned fish products are a recognized specialty in the world sardine market.

 

MIRNA’s activities include the following:

·    harvesting of fish and sea food,

·    preserving fish with heat pasteurization,

·    processing fresh and frozen fish,

·    production of fish flour and fish oils, and

·    marketing and placing fish and fish products in domestic and world markets.

Today, MIRNA is a modernly equipped fish-processing plant. The system for classifying fish by size and quality ensures that only the best fish find their way to the consumer's plates
Today's production capacities of MIRNA are:

·    1000 tons of frozen fish,

·    350 tons of fish flour,

·    80 tons of fish oil, and

·    45 million canned products,
which represents 33% of the total production of canned fish products in Croatia and 5% of European production.

 


The quality control section strictly monitors all phases of production in MIRNA, from the harvesting of fish to selling it in stores. MIRNA fish products can be found virtually everywhere in the world. Our canned fish products are exported to some fifty countries around the globe.
